We traveled from NY into NJ for this show. Arrived early enough to find cheaper street parking, though even $15.00 is too much for what is otherwise a public parking spot.

My first time at the Prudential Center. Magnetometer screenings and bag checks. Plenty of food and drink vendors, but it costs $5.00 for a bottle of water, and you cannot keep the bottle cap. Awkward.

Two acts, the first show scheduled at 8;00 p.m. It began after 8;30, and the headline act began just before 10. I didn't expect that long a delay, but others knew better and the concert hall only filled gradually.

I bought my ticket the day of the show. Our seats were way upstairs, Section 227. We had an obstructed view, and the ticket seller never mentioned this. Bought our two tickets at a markup, and had an over $60 dollars service charge. Outrageous.

The show was wonderful, and the acoustics were good, but, alas, the obstructed view. I wish there were more video screens (there were just two, and they both faced forward, whereas we sat on the right side).

My first time at this venue, and it only reminded me how much I miss Madison Square Garden.
