I do not want to discourage anyone going here if help is needed, the work that is done if great. My fiance and I were in the emergency room on 1/4/20 around 9pm. My fiance suffered dog bites to here hands and was rushed there. Including the dr on staff around 5 different people had helped us during the visit. The dr was fine , the male nurse was amazing and the female nurse was amazing that had to clean up her hands up, so thank you to those 3 professionals. Now the women that took my fiance back for an x-ray and brought her back was telling her how they will now have to quarantine your dog and then they will chop its head off to study it. Now does this seem a little bad timing for this content? We are already shaken up over the bite and now she has repeated at least 4 or 5 times how they will chop your dogs head off to study it, maybe I am overreacting but probably not the most professional thing to say. Next up is there was a male and female nurse on staff when you check in and get your paperwork and vitals, first small room you go Into before they take you back, the male nurse which was bald stopped my fiance on her way out and asked, Hey we all have been talking and betting on what kind of dog bit you, my fiance responded with type of dog and he said o I wouldn't of figured that I thought it was a Chihuahua and laughed, now does that seem very professional to make fun of someone's situation and severity of injury? The bite was no little scratch, there were holes in both hands and thought of hand being broken. I want to point this out and I hope someone reads this and talks to the staff about now being idiots and maybe think about talking before say the dumbest thing you can.
