Aireen Calimbahin Review of Pulliam Pools

Pulliam built our pool in 2004. They have also been servicing our pool ever since. But the last 2 yrs, their service had gone downhill. I called for service to check our pool pump which won't turn on. A technician was supposed to call me on Tuesday morning to give me an estimated arrival time. I decided to call them instead because my mom who just had a stroke and was recently released from the hospital was having blood pressure problems and had to be seen by the doctor at 11:30am, so I needed to make sure that I coordinate the technician's coming to my house. Josh was the name of the tech and he said that he has scheduled to be at my house at noon. I requested for him to come at around 3 because I will not be home at noon and I explained that I had to take my mom to the doctor. He told me that he cannot guarantee that he can come at 3 and I might need to reschedule. I didn't want to wait another day or so since the pool pump has not run since Friday so I agreed to his suggestion to come to my house without me being there and I can just call in my credit card number to the office for the charges. He called later on during the day and said he turned on the pump and it turned on and he tried turning it on and off 3 times and it seemed to be working and it might just have overheated and it doesn't need replacement. I trusted his judgement. I asked him to do the annual cleaning of the separation tank and check up and he said he could do that since he was still at my driveway. My husband got home and checked what was done with the pool pump and noticed that the psi level was still high, our garden hose didn't look like someone had used it and the normal white specks left on the lawn grass after tank was cleaned out were nowhere to be found. No service ticket was also left on our door or elsewhere. He called the office to discuss the work that was supposed to be done and Josh wrote on the ticket that the lady asked him to clean the skimmer baskets and we got charged an hour's worth of work plus the service charge for coming to check the pump. My husband tried to explain to the assistant manager that there was no logic in cleaning just the skimmers which he could do himself and would not take him an hour. Also if the pump overheated, it means it will overheat again in the near future because something must have been causing the overheating. The assistant manager agreed and promised to send Frank who has beed doing service with our pool and I also specifically requested to do the work but my request was overlooked, and will not charge us for the cleaning and supposedly going to check the pump. But it is Thursday now and we have not gotten any phone calls back about when they are coming or if they are coming at all. My husband has called twice today but each time someone answers the phone, he is clueless of our situation and the managers were apparently gone for the day. Whatever happened to the Pulliam we have known? They now have dishonest and inefficient technicians and the managers now seem to not care about their loyal customers.
