WHY, OH WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE FILET???!!!!!!!?!?????!?!?!?!?!?

The filet here used to be THE BEST DISH IN LOUISVILLE. Hands down. No competition. Period.

However, the new chef moved away from the potato latke under the filet and now has an overabundance of "smushed" fingerling potatoes on the plate. What made the old filet so wonderful was that it was the perfect bite. You could combine the asparagus, steak, prosciutto and latke all in a single savory bite. Now the potatoes seem as an after and mine were not seasoned at all. They really only work to take away from the steak instead of enhancing it.

It is such a shame that the best meal in town no longer exist. I still love the place, the atmosphere and the excellent wait staff but damn...... =(
