Ivan Williams Review of one ocean resort
Pros:
Pros:
Very nice location. The hotel is in the middle of everything, with access to the beach directly from the hotel. You can walk to most of the shops within a few minutes. The largest (only 8 floors) hotel in the immediate area, and it fits nicely.
Lots of choices of restaurants and even LOCAL family restaurants like Ellen s.
Cons:
The cost of daily parking is not cheap! Not to add if you take your car out, a tip should be given to the gentlemen that run back and forth.
With Covid19, special cleaning processes of the rooms are being done. However, we left our room for the day on Friday (10th July). The gentlemen cleaning rooms saw us, and said he d clean our room (we re there for a 5 night stay), while we would be out. We were out all day and came back to the room not cleaned. We ended up merely leaving the towels outside the room to be collected, and had a fresh set dropped off. A shame the gentlemen could not have cleaned the room while we were out, as he offered.
Considering we re at the beach, the restaurant Azure (I believe that is the name), requires no open shoes and restore attire. Honestly, I am on holiday, not at work, and the most I want to do is to put on shorts, a T-shirt and some sandals/flip flops. Albeit, I understand certain restaurants and such have rules. But...
The shower door is setup in a weird way. Well, it is in room 601. To turn the shower on, you either have to get scolded with hot water, or get frozen with cold water. The shower handle is behind the door
I do love the location of the hotel and the options/choices of restaurants near by...
