My daughter was born here last week of April 2017. Several complaints but biggest two are they could care less about your birth plan and the number of inexperienced nurses.

Birth plan: they really truly sound like they care about your birth plan and give you a several page form to complete, however, you have to fight tooth and nail every step of the way to get them to follow YOUR birth plan. And after 8 hours of agonizing pain for your wife, do you really have the energy to fight the staff? I'll keep it to the major items.

1) no residents: this was our first child, so let's stick to the pros. They had a resident deliver my baby but the worse part was the resident took 30 minutes to stitch my wife after delivery. 9 days later and she is still in pain from the stitches!
2) DO NOT PULL THE PLACENTA OUT! I seriously watched her trying to pull the placenta out and when I confronted her, she lied to my face and said she wasn't and then proceeded to pull again. This was a big deal so I said it again and then they said she could try to push, 1/2 push and it popped right out in seconds.
3) every staff that touched our baby was being trained and no one could answer some of the simplest questions like "why are you running this test". "What do we do if she doesn't pass this test".

One last item, they show you these birthing rooms with individual a/c, bathtubs, lighting, incense etc. Our a/c didn't work, the tub wasn't ready, the birthing ball wasn't sterilized for use, never saw incense. Baby friendly certification? What a joke, only baby friendly things they did was skin to skin after birth. Other than that, only thing that was important to the hospital was constant interruption 24 hours for tests no one knew why they were running.
