I put in a finance app before going into the dealership. I had to call them twice to check and see if they could finance me. Finally heard back from a gentleman named La Rue and was told that there wasn't anything they could do for me. The end of that week I received a follow up email from the general sales manager Howard Thaler. I told him my situation and he said that he would personally work on my loan. I told him that I had my heart set on a new Malibu and that I needed a vehicle desperately. Howard made it happen! He did everything that he could to make it work and I still can't believe he got me into a 2017 Malibu! I can't thank Howard enough. Thank you so so much!! When we went in to sign papers, we had a gentleman by the name of Tony help us. He was a very kind and upfront salesman. The guy that I had spoke to first (La Rue) that said they couldn't do anything for me, he was there and he told us that he didn't know how Howard did it. Maybe it was a challenge for Howard? Towards the end, La Rue took over and showed us the ins and outs of the car. He was very helpful and has reached out to me following up with my experience and how I like my new car. Thank you Gateway Chevrolet for making this new car buying experience unforgettable! I am truly grateful!
