Loved it! We were able to pick out and adopt the perfect dog for us! The place is very organized and is maintained properly. There is enough enclosed areas where you can interact with the dog & play. Information was available and staff / volunteers were friendly. You can call a number to be in line for an adoption counselor / staff member. They let you know how long the current wait time is, and how many people are ahead of you in line. You then get a call when they are ready so you can come up front.

The small dog and cat areas are indoors, the glass walls are nice so you can see the animal without having to take them out of the cage. All of them had info out (like how old, whether it was owner surrendered, how heavy, heartworm neg/pos) The animal turnover for small dogs seem to be pretty fast. The large & medium dogs have their information on the outside of the kennel so you know whether you can approach it or need some help if it has behavior issues. Cats and small animals had their own building. They have an off-leash area for small dogs too, if you wanted to meet with them.

Couldn't be happier about our new family member. They do have an adoption application and ask you a few questions to see if you would be a good fit, and I notice they keep an eye out when you first bring out the dog for a walk. (Probably to see if the dog will have behavior issues or see if you are being appropriate with the dog) All of our questions were answered and I'm glad the animals we checked out were well cared for and it looked like staff were doing their best. You might have to visit more than one time to find your perfect companion, and of course the outdoor kennels did have a smell. Check out this place if you are looking for a new companion / pet!
