Pitch okay. Some places are totally unsuitable for children. Company cars and carts drive way too fast through the streets and do not take children playing into account. General toilets and showers not clean, especially with the current corona situation. Walls and doors are downright filthy and are not cleaned. Dishwashing spots dirty and dripping racks under the mold. The camping site is too big to allow children around the age of 5/6 to cycle alone to the large playground. This also because of the many dangerous traffic. Distances are too far. Playgrounds between the camping sites are very simple and outdated. The beach is reasonably close from the camping pitches. Beach is dirty, quite a lot of algae. Removed every now and then. 15 minutes by bike from the beach "de banjaard" which is completely different with a wavy sea and clean beach. The tropical pool is very outdated and filthy. Sand and leaves in the outdoor pool. This campsite is very disappointing for us, especially in this corona time. We certainly no longer book a camping spot at this campsite. The camping site in Vrouwenpolder, the sand pit, is a world of difference, and is our preference; small-scale, friendly, better entertainment for young children, clean beach and above all, many times cleaner.
