First off, Pyramid's customer service, flexible scheduling and response time for initial service was amazing (even during coldest day of year and snow storm aftermath) - very much appreciated! That is where the good service ended.
Our blower motor for heat/ac unit died. This part was covered under our 10 year warranty (confirmed by Pyramid, office and tech). When we got our bill it was $370. I asked the tech for the break down and was told approximately $300 for part and $70 for labor (took him 30 mins to do the work).
I was shocked that a part covered under warranty still cost $300! We called the office and they stated that the $300 was for labor, not the part cost.
That is a gnarly rate!
I am very confused.
Are they price gouging us?
Are they lying?
Either way, be very wary with this company.
After reading other reviews, this is nothing new.
All that being said, the tech was very friendly and did a great job in timely fashion.
I simply question the companies business/billing practices.
