My tree was pruned professionally and neatly, not cropped like so many hacks do, destroying the natural shape and growth of the tree. This tree had lost a couple of major limbs during a windstorm and desperately needed to be reshaped. Since it's a pear, it was also thinned to prevent further damage in high winds, and crossing limbs were removed. The result looks beautiful, and now I can't wait to see those buds burst into bloom!
