They did come out to review the issues we have been having with our heating and cooling systems and made suggestions about installing a new one. Their rep suggested an Amana Furnace and Air Conditioning system with humidification and air purification. He called it "a bullet-proof system". I felt that we were pressured into making an immediate decision; that if we decided that day, we were going to to get some additional discounting. We did our research instead and learned about all the possible solutions that exist. Amana furnaces and air conditioners are at the bottom of the barrel, requiring constant repair with parts and labor. We live in a town-home with 1,624 sq. ft. and I anticipated a system costing maybe $7,000 - $9,000 with all the bells and whistles. His price? $20,000.
