Honestly I wasn t very impressed with the museum, I preferred the intimacy and exhibit set up of the Getty or Getty Villa, I found the lacma almost too much to take in at once. The food and drink are pricey.

I recommend just visiting the lamp exhibit. This was the most fun part for us and we loved the pictures we got, but this is on the outside of the medium and you don t even need to pay to go in.

If you have kids, I would skip this museum and head over to the Peterson automobile museum down the street. Or the Getty or Getty Villa if you want to expose your kids to the arts in a much friendlier Family setting.
