My mom was a resident. The caregivers try but they are severely understaffed. With no caregiver per resident regulations, they say they are not understaffed but they are. My sister and I would come every single evening and witnessed so many disturbing violations. In a complaint filed with the state, there were 6 caregivers onsite during a fire drill with 57 residents, most of whom need assistance in transporting and/or suffer from dementia. Another complaint that was substantiated reported a resident forgotten outside in the sun for over three hours on an 80 degree day last summer. If your loved one is quiet, if you pay your rent on time, and if you don t inquire or complain, Andre, one of the owners, will be nice. Otherwise, she will get in your face, agree with you to your face, then turn around and change her mind, or argue aggressively and invite you to give your 30 day notice. Andre should never be in direct contact with residents and their families. Most of the positive reviews on Google are given by the family of the owners (Moran) or employees (O Shea).
