Absolutely a horrible experience every time I go. Not only are the staff members in the front rude, but they could care less about their job and the customers. You go in the door at 9:05 am for a hearing and you sign in where it says for you to sign in at. Then you kindly have a seat in anticipation of having your name called. Everyone else has their name called but you....here comes 11:00 and I go to the front to inquire on how much longer the wait time is, she sighs and reply's you have to fill out the paper on the table behind you. What!? So, me signing my legal name on your "sign in " sheet has nothing to door with my "scheduled hearing at 9:30am? She says we don't go by the sign in sheet. "Why do you have it then"? OMG, missing a half a days work not only to be treated poorly, but for the "system" of that facility to be useless and incomplete. She told me there are signs on the table behind you. I never turned around to look at the wall behind me. I was looking forward ..SIGNING IN! No one spoke to me and there were people being "served" at the window. I m not going to even start with the "personalities" on the phone when you call for case information....IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB QUIT!!!!! There are better qualified people with better attitudes that can handle it. Not to mention after 7 years of waiting for the father of my child to be served...because they always said they could not locate him... I could drive them to him at that very moment to be "served". They don't even honor back child support, so for 7 years this looser gets away with not paying a dime for his child for the DHS inability to "serve" him. WHAT A JOKE! Oh dear Lord bless these people with better skills and me with the patience to deal with such morons. Yea, why am I there in the first place?... Stuff happens differently then you can fathom at times, I was in a relationship for a year and was blessed with a beautiful little boy. Unfortunately the guy dipped and refused to help, man I sure know how to pick em. But come on DHS, at least show the same courtesy to me as you would expect to receive yourself. .. you know "Treat others how you want to be treated". Ok, Off my soapbox.
