This hotel was just "okay." The service, although friendly, was so slow. Upon arrival, we were pointed toward our room but we didn't have the items that were supposed to come with the dog package. We called down for them and about 45 minutes later, it showed up. Another 30 minutes later, we got our welcome package that came with the Yelp check-in. Just too long.

Then, we noticed a number of unpleasantries. A broken finger nail in our bed, a faulty door handle in the bathroom that kept coming off into our hands, and the patio door would not open. We decided enough was enough and called down for a room change. Crystal was very nice and helpful, telling us that a new room would be ready for us shortly. After an hour and a half, I called back down to check on the status of the change and I got the same response, that it was in the "final stages" and that they would bring us the keys when they were done. Finally, we got a call that the room was ready and to come get the keys. Then another call followed saying the keys were being brought over. Now, two and a half hours had elapsed since the initial call, and the keys showed up at our door. Shortly after we arrived in our room, someone came hoping to clear out dishes from the previous guests (which the room had just been cleaned so there were none). Just bad communication between he departments.

Thankfully, the new room was much better and had even nicer appliances in it (a Keurig instead of a Mr. Coffee, a nicer iron and blow dryer.. just overall better). It was more of what you would expect at this hotel. However, it is like a lottery; getting a nice room is up to chance.

This hotel also isn't for couples, but for parties. Lots of noise and the club seems lively, but just wasn't our scene. We wish we would have fronted the extra couple hundred and stayed somewhere nicer.
