This hotel is suituated in an ideal spot everywhere is literally a stones through away but for me unfortunatly that is more or less where the positives end.
Our room itself was ok, for the most part it was clean, a few things that i would nit pick about is our first night we had a random holey grey undefined sheet inside of the usual white linen sheet (which didnt even fit the bed). The shower left me with some doubts since I am pretty sure that it was a cupboard before and they could of got rid of all the calc.
The worst part for me however was the smell. I understand that they have a Chinese style resturant on site (which i heard is really good but we never tried it) but we were on the second floor and it just stunk all the time of fat or fat frying something along those lines and it did seep into our room which was extremely off putting and the smell did get worse depending on time of day.
Another small complaint is we wanted a night cap and we had gone out the back for a cigarette and came back into the bar where someone was working. Now we stood there for a good few minutes while he was working but he never once asked if we needed something, I can completely understand If the bar is closed but just communicate with us so we know your not open.
All in all I wouldnt stay here again and that is more or less purely based on the smell.
I wish I could be more positive but I just wanted to leave an honest review.
Side note, there is a beer pub next door which is AMAZING
