We're going there for Armie Hammer.

We're going there for Armie Hammer.
Hayes Theater is right in the heart of Broadway, on 44th Street, near the Marriot Times Square. A typical Broadway theater: old, renovated, room of some 660 seats with mezzanine, comfortable seating. I was at the orchestra level at $149 USD, so among the best places.
The production featured Straight White Men with Armie Hammer, co-star of Call Me by Your Name and The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and Josh Charles, another movie star (Hairspray, S.W.A.T., Threesome, etc.). New Broadway way : a lot of productions with movie stars, for a limited number of weeks. In this case, from the end of June to the end of August 2018.
The play boils down to a "very guys" meeting on Christmas Eve : the father and the 3 brothers who seem to play the same scenario over and over, from Christmas to Christmas. Armie Hammer plays the youngest brother, a writer. Very good play, even if he made his debut on Broadway. A quarter-turn staging, including several choreographies from their childhood. Very "guys" and very funny.
The comedians are available for autographs and photos after the show, outdoors. Armie Hammer is very generous, distributing signatures and smiles to the heart.
A pleasant evening that starts at 19:00 and ends at 20:30, the usual hours of shows on Broadway that give time to restore afterwards.
