Visiting The Poppy Factory is a heart warming experience. Every time I go I am warmly welcomed and everyone there has wonderful stories to tell.
Here's more info about the charity...

Since 1922, The Poppy Factory has delivered the single-minded ambition to help wounded, injured or sick ex-Servicemen and women and their dependents find paid, meaningful civilian employment.

The Poppy Factory has a real understanding of the qualities and skills of Services trained people combined with professional, commercial experience. This means the charity can carefully and successfully match former Services candidates to new civilian roles. The Poppy Factory works with companies across the UK like the AA and Lockheed Martin.

With funds raised, The Poppy Factory is able to help in all aspects of the return to work, such training making the benefits stack up for both applicants and organisations. The Poppy Factory also partners with many Services Charities by working together to find fulfilling jobs for wounded, injured or sick ex-Service people.

At this time, more people are leaving the Forces and the exit from Afghanistan is further increasing the demand for The Poppy Factory team s expertise. In addition to its recruitment and return to work support, The Poppy Factory directly employs veterans who make the poppies and wreaths for Remembrance Day. It is proud to have been a supplier to the Royal British Legion since 1922.
