The Museum below the Arch was very informative regarding St. Louis history, with some hands on fun. You walk thru the museum to get in line to go up to the top of the Arch for viewing when its your scheduled time. Each pod (elevator) holds 5 people. Due to COVID, only the people you came with are allowed in the pod with you. Once you get to the top, there is a step that will allow short ones to lean over to look out of the small windows. You CAN see EVERYTHING! You can go back down in the pods and back to the museum to look around if you did not get to see everything before your timed entry to the top. There IS a food place there (expensive) I paid $12 for a water and deep fried Ravioli! Lol When you are done, walk out of the museum near the food place, walk down the steps, and go to the River Boat for their cruise! This makes for good pictures. The lawn around it has nice benches and sidewalks and information posts along the river to the Arch. The green lawn around the arch use to be the main village/city. The old church still stands and is in use today.
