My husband and I have been taking our son to zoo's since he was born - he is 6 now. We love Beardsley Zoo because it is here in CT and also like that it isn't a huge zoo that we have to spend the entire day at to see everything and end up having a tired, cranky child by the time we leave. We LOVE the tigers! They are the most active tigers we have ever seen at zoo's. Most every other zoo we've gone too the tiger are just laying in the shade and your lucky if they walk around a little. It seems every time we've been to Beardsley the tigers are playing with a ball or in the water playing. The price of $11 or $12 is extremely reasonable considering it includes parking!
