When we first hired this service in a different neighbourhood a few years back, Kodiak's service was excellent. But for the last two or three years they often forget to clear our driveway or they do it too late, and sometimes only after we have had to call them. I have to crash through the snow the city plows leave at the end of the driveway too often. They're polite on the phone, which is important, but doesn't really make up for forgetting to clear our driveway.

I suspect the problem is there are only two other houses on our crescent that Kodiak services and their plow does the other two and just leaves our crescent without bothering to driving to our house.

Yesterday, they did it again and my wife's van got stuck trying to get into our driveway and I just left my car on the road. We called Kodiak and eventually they came around and did it.

Mind you, I tried Capital before and they provided mediocre service, were rude on the phone, and pushy about selling their other services. I really dislike Capital, but regrettably I may go with them next year. I just want to be able to get in and out of my driveway with some predictability.
