2nd try. Looks very nice. Rooms are large. Very clean inside and out. But the entire side of rooms on the building near elevator have musty moldy smell. Even though they have been remodeling, i think MOLD SMELL is a deeper issue than superficial remodel. Advice? Walk a little more and stay on the other side for better rooms.
Staff is friendly. Front desk is way better than last time I came and seem to have an understanding about special needs children now with new staff. It is near Sugar Sand Park, hospitals, beach and town center boca. You'd think families with children (and special needs) would make this place a big hit but there are lots of older guests just like the region.
Older guests can be rude towards children. Older guests can seem to be disrespectful or inclined to tell you a thing or two about your children. Most guests are friendly. The hotel is making good steps but needs a lot more construction improvement. Afternoon cocktail at 5:30p is a big hit. This hotel without the musty rooms would certainly get 5 stars. Very comfortable beds but right now, that smell will give you a bad headache on the next morning and lack of sleep... so big draw for me.
