When I walked into the Garden Center the employee had her back to the door, while she was on the internet, she did not acknowledge me, or even turn her head to make facial contact. As I walked around, I entered the interior plant area, a blonde haired man on a latter was placing pottery on the shelves, again no acknowledgement of my presence.
I feel if employees work in a retail environment that interact with customers they need to be more friendly and inviting.
