Marina Padovani Review of Rusnak Auto Group
One of my friends was looking for a F-Type and she...
One of my friends was looking for a F-Type and she asked me to take her to Russnak in Pasadena since she knew exactly what she wanted and that dealership had the car and color available on their lot. She called the dealership while letting them know that she was coming over and making sure that the car was available.
The newly employed gentleman got her info and was available upon our arrival.
Once we got there, a couple hours later, that specific car was no longer available.
She then started asking about different options and - after finding another $75K car - the young sales guy took us to talk to his manager.
That manager was / is probably the rudest human being I ve ever encountered.
He was rude, short and not concise.
He spoke to her in a very condescending way and when I tried to politely jump in he looked at me and said: I m not talking to you .
If it was up to me; I would have left right then.
After the conversation with the manager was over she asked to test drive the car - the dealership had 27 minutes left before the end of the business day - and that manager said that it was too late to get someone to go to the lot while getting the car.
So.... They ve gotten all of her info and we set an appointment for the next day.
On the next day early in the am the not so professional sales man - he was wearing a nice suit but knew absolutely nothing about the F-Type - called while asking for her Social and confirming the appointment.
She gave all the pertinent info to him and - once again - I ve taken her there.
Upon arrival to the dealership we ve realized that the car was not there.
Once the car got there - over an hour later - the car was very, very dirty.
The whole situation was a mess.
The store looks nice but the people are just horrible.
After everything was set an done guess what?
My friend found out that Russnak had run her 800 credit 4 times.
Not only that but she turned her nice BMW in and they assured that everything would be handled properly and guess what?
Russnak didn t properly inform BMW since she was charged for another car payment after turning the BMW to Russnak a few weeks earlier.
Upon calling Russnak to have that addressed the store manager - a different one this time - was nice and apologetically but did absolutely nothing to help.
She had to handle it all with BMW while waiting almost a month for a refund.
After driving for a few days she realized that the F-Type was very noisy and guess what?
They didn t have any availability for weeks and once she could finally get her car in - the car stayed there for a few days - and once she got the car back it had cobwebs in it and it was dirty.
Their excuse was that they were very busy and overworked.
Is that for real?
They probably left the windows open overnight.
The bottom line is:
Nightmare from beginning to end.
I ve been driving luxury cars for a while and I would never, ever and ever go - or take a friend - to a Russnak / Jaguar / Land Rover dealership.
