This thing is certainly worth going to the top of if you are visiting the city. There is a really nice Lewis and Clark museum at the base where they explain what boudin is. However, don't dress in some kind of crazy costume, or the security will search you like they did my friends when we went one time.

What the tour guides won't tell you is that the entire structure is designed as a weather controlling station. I don't know how it works, but I don't think it is doing its job as the weather is never pleasant when I go to St. Louis.
