The doctors are the best! I traveled here for my surgery. Unfortunately, my husband got hospitalized after an unexpected illness on our 2nd day. My doctor recommended to push back my surgery which I agreed for the concern of my husband s well being. My husband got better and was released. My doctor was still very concerned about him and would ask about him every time I see her. One week later it is my turn for my surgery. I was quite nervous and had so much anxiety the morning of my surgery. My doctor (Dr. Marie Victoria Cruz-Javier) held my hand when I was on the operating bed and room and told me that everything will be fine. She held my hand the entire time until the anesthesia kicked in. Those little gestures of empathy and compassion is what makes her the best in her field. To understand what the patient is going through and reassuring them that you will take care of them is what any patient wants and expects. Thank you Dr. Cruz-Javier for leaving a lasting impression on me when I was under your care!!!!!!!! You are indeed a great role model and top-notch doctor for all to learn from. I am sure you are one of the reasons why St. Luke s delivers QUALITY health care!!!
