I arrived on the doorstep of the Los Angeles Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery after suffering devastating results while I was in the care of a dentist who left my teeth in much worse condition than when he found them. After suffering through failed crowns, infections, ongoing pain, and teeth falling out on a regular basis, I arrived at the Los Angeles Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Center in both dental distress and emotional distress. Thanks to the Center s supportive environment and the superb work of Dr. Stephen Kupferman, DMD, MD, FACS and the surgical assistants and other healthcare providers who worked with him, my teeth have returned to health and I am able to wake up in the morning without worry that I will look like a jack-o-lantern by the end of the day. Most importantly, I can go through the day without embarrassment and with the comfort of knowing that I can smile freely and broadly without hesitation.

I cannot thank Dr. Kupferman and the Los Angeles Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery team enough! I thank Dr. Kupferman for both his exceptional surgical talents and his taking the time to calm my nerves by thoughtfully preparing and explaining my treatment plan, answering all of my questions stupid and otherwise in a manner that reassured me that I was in great hands (what a relief!). I thank Dr. Kupferman for his calming and reassuring chair-side manner that was clearly absent from my prior dental experience. In addition, I must commend the Center team members for their professionalism, empathy, concern, and care. Thank you all for making me feel like the Center s most important patient at every step along the way. I want to particularly thank Ruth (Treatment Coordinator), Pors cha (Support Staff), and Atalie (Oral Surgery Assistant) for making me feel safe and secure from the moment I stepped into the waiting room.
