Installers Vantha and Eleazar were excellent (5 stars) arriving on time and fully prepared to get the job done quickly and professionally. We had 8 windows replaced and a sliding door which ended up taking two full days. Job sites were set up in a way to keep the house clean. Overall the interaction and professionalism with the install team was great. We were also surprised to learn that one of the frames had been damaged during shipping. I probably would not have noticed the issue for quite some time however the install team noticed and got a new door ordered for future replacement.
Onto the less than perfect bit -
At initial consultation it was required that my wife and I be present even though scheduling was difficult. I get it, it makes sense to have both decision makers at home during the consultation. Unfortunately it was merely a ploy to ensure their high pressure sales tactics were successful. I do think that the high quality of the windows would have spoken for themselves without the added pressure of "limited time offers" and "buy today or lose out on $5,000" etc. Overall we still decided to go with the high cost Anderson windows (double the cost of anyone else) and are happy with the choice after install. It doesn't negate the fact that after the consult I was left with a bamboozled feeling of "what just happened?". Lead time was approximately two months which seemed very long considering one of our windows was smashed and boarded up.
Even with the negatives, I would still recommend and use Renewal by Anderson again with an understanding those things stated above.
