Jenny Nguyen Review of Synergy - Perth
If I could give a negative star review I would.

First off, we pay our bills on time and this time was no different. So it s not a payment issue.
So our power was cut because they mistook us for the evicted tenant next door. A Synergy employee came in asked us if we were unit 6, we replied yes. He hands us a sheet to advise our power will be cut and 30 seconds later our power goes out, with him in no sight to flag down.
We then call Synergy immediately and advise of what has happened as our bills have always been paid on time - just a note we are a small business whose livelihoods and our employees rely on the business running. The lady on the phone advises it must have been a mistake and was meant for the tenant next door - who out of all 7 other tenants is closed by the way, dead giveaway into who hasn t been paying or is the reason why they re not in operation.
She then tells us as standard procedure it takes 48 HOURS to get the power back when it took them LESS THAN 30 SECONDS to cut our power. But you know everything is A-OKAY cause they can compensate and this kind of mistake happens ALL THE TIME. Is that not something as a company you should perhaps, improve the communication between your employees and Western Power so it doesn t happen all the time .
About another 3 calls in to all different workers which are all apologetic (scripted) but you know they don t really care because they re not the ones who have to pay workers, lose customers, degrade business reputation, lose money etc. But they can understand .
Every business has procedures but should you not take care into whose power you are cutting off and make sure 110% they are the correct people/business. Simply identifying the house/unit number and not the business name itself is so simple.
Monetary compensation isn t always enough when you are a small business. Our income is reliant on what happens with our business not just regarding whether we re open or not, but our reputation and our customers.
Not good enough.
