A number of times had a great business stay. Hotel is somewhat dated but clean and the staff is welcoming. Food is good. Basically everything you can expect with a standard van der Valk.
I make a remark about animal friendliness. Although pets are allowed in the room after consultation, they are not allowed to go to the restaurant or bar. I understand very well that not everyone benefits from animals in the restaurant, but as a rule there is a separate place. That is not the case in Westerbroek, the animals are not allowed. We were only informed of this after 2 inquiries. You don't leave your child in the room or in the car when you have to eat, do you? Anything can happen and noise nuisance cannot be excluded. We canceled the reservation and found another spot, but it might be more convenient to just not allow pets.
