We received a totally damaged TV worth 58,050 Rs that was ordered from TataCliq website.

This was ordered by me as a birthday gift to my brother who stays in Thane, India. It totally ruined his day.

Date of order - 20th Aug, 2020
Delivery Date - 24th Aug, 2020

They initially apologised and asked us to raise a return request.

To our extreme disappointment and horrendous shock, when we gave a call back to check the return request details, customer care told us the request would not be processed since the box was opened by us.

This came as a shock because:
-No one told us during the time of delivery that the box is not to be opened
-In fact as a precautionary measure it was suggested to open the outer cover and wash hands of which screenshot
-Also, it was not mentioned in the delivery email to not open the box.

-After numerous calls, emails and discussions with TataCliq support, all we hear is 'Mam, the box was opened by you hence we cannot take the return'. The customer care is not even registering the complaint!

This is an absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible attitude towards a very serious issue.

TataCliq is running a scam behind this brand name Tata. They do not entertain complaints where big amounts and electronics are involved.

I am still waiting for my refund and won't stop until I get my hard earned money back!
