Sprocket used to be a great service with fairly reliable high speed. They have gone way down hill. Speeds are often below dial up. We've found that we have to turn off the wifi and use our cell phone service to be able to do things at certain times. We were supposed to get 10 Mb, but are often at 300 Kb! We have tried to work with them, but they insist they have no problem. This is totally false. The speeds to their server is fine, the problem seems to be in their gateway to the internet. They make you use a speedtest called Speedsmart. This test actually looks fine, but what they do is conceal the fact that this test is only to their server and not to the internet. I could care less about the speed to their server. I am paying for speed to the internet! When you run any other speedtest, the results are consistently below 1Mb. We've ditched sprocket and gone to Simply Bits. We should have done it a long time ago.
