It's a shame. Everyone who works or volunteers there is super friendly and amazing. But like many other reviews mention, it's a hit or miss. We learned that things are way too overpriced because the store manager (Heather) forgets that most of these items are second-hand. A used sofa from 1988 was marked nearly $200. We asked her if she thought that was more than it should have been for a donated sofa and she replied "That IS the discount." So we then went to The Dump past KOP and found a brand NEW sofa for just over $200, and a new desk chair for $12! Assistant manager John (awesome guy like the other associates and volunteers) on the other hand prices items fairly, hence why some items are affordable. It's a store to give back to the community, not make a profit. One shopper had mentioned that Heather drives an $80k car. One can only hope it's not true because Habitat for Humanity isn't about profit and corruption.
