Let me tell you, I absolutely love pancakes. If a cafe or restaurant has them on the menu I'm 9/10 times ordering them. And obviously the Pancake Parlour is no exception, considering 98% of their menu consists of pancakes.
When I got there to meet my siblings, we ordered pretty much right away, but there was a problem with the tablet so a different waiter had to be called - oh well, technology can malfunction like that - but the new waiter, right before taking our order told us to "hang on a moment", assuming that tablet malfunctioned too, we waited. And waited.
5 minutes later the waiter hadn't come back and we were watching every waiter (including the two who had tried to take our order) pass us with other people's orders, with no idea about the situation with ours.
I managed to call over the first waiter after a few minutes and it was sorted out. However my siblings and I were a tad annoyed because the lack of communication was frustrating to say the least, so much so that we were going to just walk out of the place because of it, but decided to stay because we were hungry.
Anyway, the pancakes were pretty good and they didn't get our order wrong so at least that went right. Overall this experience was a solid 6/10, the only downfall being the service and lack of communication.
