Francois Dreyfuss Review of Manila Ocean Park
Went there with 2 kids 5yo and 7yo.

It is overpriced, and I am glad I had some metrodeal coupons. But still.
It was crowded (but it was on a Sunday), so that didn't help with the overall experience.
Still, even taking this out of the equation:
The oceonarium, despite having some beautiful specimens, including huge ones and rare ones, it doesn't make up for: the lack of maintenance of the aquariums and for beaing an all-around fake habitats (everything is concrete/plastic: rocks, algaes, corals)
Many aquariums are missing some quick card depicting the species present in them.
Also, there is no aircon in a number of rooms, making it even harder to enjoy.
Sharks and rays encounter: the high point for the kids, since they could touch a ray. But not much more than that, if anything really.
Jellies exhibit: most of it is a lot of the same, although a few aquariums are indeed showcasing some different species. Still overall disappointing in terms of diversity.
Sea Lion show: not sure if it is because I've seen others before, and they're all kind of the same, but nothing really exciting there. Not bad either I guess.
Symphony evening show: quote from my 7yo girl: "it's boring". We were totally unimpressed. People were even leaving the show before it ended.
