Someone dropped off a pool for emaciated looking dog in our neighbor's yard. We knew our neighbor didn't get it because she was out of town for the week. My husband gave it food and water, then called neighbor to confirm. She said no way because she is scared to death of any dog. So the next morning, my husband put the dog in our car and took him to the Humane Society. They were not open yet but a young man took the dog anyway. We were so thankful because we live next to a very busy highway and we were afraid the poor dog would get run over. An awesome experience with this organization! I do recommend calling everyone to check the hours of operation before going there!
