Horriable damn place this is the worst hospital I have ever been to . I moved to long island from the bronx and I have to go the bronx jacobi or monterferi because these rns and so called doctor dont seem to have a feelings towards their patient I have seen the same lady my second time and I already knew I was going to go through the worst procedure. I told her I was in pain she said she would give me pain meds for now I waited a hr for the pain meds when she came in she came back in with the doc, my issue was I had severe pain which I needed antibiotics or surgery instead of evaluating me with care she kept on touching the pain so many times after telling her it hurts why would you continue to even touch me without giving me the pain meds stated at least help my pain to go down then touch me . Then ask me questions that I gave her the same constant answer to then assuming things without even asking and then I have to tell her no I do not use this or the other . I did not feel comfortable when I seen the Indian doctor in the Express care , , I did this procedure before at the other hospitals the rn,and doctors, there in the bronx made me feel at ease and help me to stay calm and tried to do whatever they can to help me knowing I was in pain . They explained to me the procedure , the doc and nurse here at mercy just showed no damn empathy Worst place do not come here you will walk out here dead . Meaning you will leave in pain because the rn, and doc are thers only for a pay check... If I was a nurse or a doctor I would have done it because I want to help ppl not make them feel worst I will never come back here ever. I walked out because I was scared and in crazy amount of pain and did not feel like they were able of handling my situation with care so I rather go somewhere I know it was done before and at least they know of the same situation someone else may have and I wont feel alone in the procedure . Do not come here seriously You do not want to come here , the only reason I see why that Indian lady was treating me so horriable and talking to me with no sense of care must be because I'm a darker skin color I don't see no other reason . I am so disgusted with this hospital there are so many young ppl out there working hard to graduate and have nicer attitudes this hospital needs to hire better ppl . Give other ppl out there opportunities to change this place around. Look at all these horrible reviews. This place need to close down or turn it around . I don't understand how the administrator does not see these reviews and does not do anything about this place Hire better rns, hire better doctors. Everyone has issues in life but doesnt mean they have to come to work and treat patience like crap.nurse PRACTITIONERS are so much better than these rns and doctors out here. I feel bad that the good ones have to struggle to find jobs meanwhile the ones who already have the position dont even love what they do . And the hr who hires maybe shuts those ppl down because they dont have experience meanwhile the damn doctors and rn here act like they didn't even gain experience. Please this place is a mess.
