The internet sales manager Mike said they were giving "TOP DOLLAR" for my trade. 2 days later they had it marked to sell for $5000 higher than what they gave me. 2 days after that, they sold the truck I traded in. 3 weeks after that, they still haven't paid off my trade in (that they already sold). I call in and ask what the hold up is because it should have been paid off within 20 days, I called my bank and it is now past due because they haven't paid off the balance. When speaking with the finance guy Mike at Lithia toyota, he said "you should have made the payment this month", which is B.S. because we discussed this exclusively while signing the contract on my new vehicle. The deal was made the first week of this month and the payment wasn't due until the 24th and he said "they'd have it paid off before then and not to worry". One last thing, when you go to sign contracts, the finance guys can be sneaky and add in unwanted warranty things like the wheel, tire, windshield and painless dent repair thing for $800 and try to sell it off as you get a better interest rate by purchasing that. It is a gimmick and a B.S. way to get into your pockets deeper. You are better off finding your own financing and shopping elsewhere.
