The Margaux is a new sophisticated French restaurant inside the JW Marriott. Prepare to be dazzled! The atmosphere is elegant yet unintimidating. I liked that the menu had a wide variety to please any taste buds without being an overwhelming conglomeration of too many choices. Pictured here are the Chicken Basquaise and the Short Rib dishes. The short ribs can be eaten with a spoon if you so desire, they are so tender! We enjoyed the flambeed flat bread and the olive dish for our appetizers, and of course, no meal would be complete without dessert! The chocolate Madcap was smooth and sultry. Cutting into its velvety texture was nearly as satisfying as eating it! The cheesecake gets mixed reviews according to the waiter because of the unique taste of goat cheese. I thought it was absolutely delicious and had many fun textures and flavors clinging to the sides and around the plate. You can expect to pay over $100 for two people, well over that if you get cocktails and/or wine. It was well worth the cost, Julia Childs would have been so proud!
