Bad customer service. As a first time pet owner I was a little uncertain about the procedure and the costing. The receptionist hung up before I could complete my query and then cancelled all my subsequent calls.

Dropped for 5 to 3 since My Cat went for testing and came back shaved without me being warned or notified that this was relevant to the procedures she went for and my quote ended up being 30-40% MORE! And the medication given when I researched was NOT recommended for cats with bad kidneys, which is one of my baby's ailments...
Besides how abruptly the receptionist was when I came to collect my baby from the day hospital she blatantly just gave me the total, me not even knowing if my baby was okay or even alive!

We needed to use the after hours emergency service for our cat. The service we received was amazing, we only arrived at about 9pm and there was no rush to just get us out. We also received a call the following morning from the veterinarian that helped us just to check up on our cat. Was our first visit to this particular vet but will definitely be going back.

Had kitty spayed. They kept her overnight to make sure she was ok!

Today was my first visit and I am pleased to say that the receptionist is a wonderful person with a heart of gold. I asked her how much would it cost to buy an animal basket for my kitten and she gave me one for free. I firmly believe that a receptionist is the cornerstone of a business and if you receive exceptional customer service from them then you know you are at the right place. Very attentive. My little kitten, Scarlett went in to get sterilised. They called me when she was too upset to let anyone near her. I love that they did that, rather than stressing her out. The Domoney family wish to thank the vet at North Rand Animal hospital for superb service!! The vet was highly professional, empathetic and did not hesitate to be called out on a Saturday night at 7 o'clock, by an unfamiliar family. The vet arrived at the hospital within 15 minutes from taking my call. I would like to thank her for the manner in which she treated our 2 month old Husky, Skyler. I will definitely not use another vet again. Most of all, I can say with an open heart that their account is also fair, without that feeling you usually get after using an after hour services where you usually feel it is daylight robbery. Once again, thank you so much.

Amazing staff, always greeted well. The one old lady there, does tend to "clutch out" when there there is more than 2 people standing in a que. but we have always taken our dogs and have been very happy with service over all.

This vet is arguably the nicest vet iv'e ever been to and very reasonably priced, the passion for animal care from the very friendly staff and veterinarians is inspiring. They take good care of your loved animals, and you can rest assure your pet is in good competent and caring hands even when your little one has to stay for observation they take extra care to make them feel at home.

We couldn't have chosen a better practice to take care of our baby, from the beginning till the very end Dr Olivia took care of our kitten as if her own. Your professionalism as well as compassion for our circumstances will never be forgotten. It is sad to know that in some way we will not see you guys again as it was more a relationship that we build with you guys than business in the end. But I would like to thank you for your service and attentive care you always took in Jon Snow. Even though at the end nothing could have saved him, I am glad to know that he always received the best of care from North Rand Road Animal Hospital.
