The Metropole was a nice hotel where we stayed for a business conference. Had an excellent view from our 12th floor room. Room was clean, had a desk in a good location. All the important amenities like a good bed, plenty of hot water in the shower, safe, iron and board, and hair dryer.
There were a few disappointments: the ice machine on the 12th, 11th and 10th floor didn't work. I had to go to the 9th floor to get ice. No electrical outlets near bed so had to charge my phone on other side of the room. U.S. style outlet or USB outlet would have been nice. Some days wash clothes were provided other days they weren't.

Overall a pleasant stay, staff was helpful and conference facilities we're good.
