I moved from a area that had 200 Mbps as a base speed (Belleville, IL) and the area I moved to only had wisper isp and Egyptian telephone. I asked them for a price for the 100 Mbps business package cause I run a server, and they wouldn't let me know the actual price. They just told me that they would have to survey the area and that I might have to have a dedicated circuit. Then on the residential side of their packages are a joke. Almost $100 for 20/4 Mbps?! You can get 940/35 Mbps for the same price through spectrum in Belleville! I guess if I want faster internet in stlibory, il then I guess I will just have to make my own Wireless ISP. Zayo has 10gbps of IP transit, and I would be able to offer 100/100 for probably $60 a month.
