Great mix of resort style scale/amenities and Vermont value. Lincoln Peak can get a little busy, especially during holiday breaks, but Mt. Ellen usually has a mellow vibe combined with excellent terrain. There's usually a discount for Thursdays at Mt. Ellen, and buying 4-packs of tickets in the fall (but good all season) is a solid plan to save money. Dig around their website for details. And go see the annual Warren Miller ski movie for $20 and get a free day at Sugarbush (a lot of dates blacked out). Thank you Sugarbush for keeping access somewhat affordable!
