I created a google account just to review this place. For starters, I'd like it to be noted that the dresses my bridesmaids ordered were beautiful. Granted, the bridal salon didn't design/make them but they did not mess the order up.
When I brought my EIGHT girls there, everything was discussed. We asked about all costs and steps required. They measured the girls and placed the order. Everything was fine (or so we thought).
The dresses came late (understandable, its the holiday season) but we went to get their fitting done. The girls paid the remainder of their balances and the employee brought the girls downstairs. The seamstress started cutting the bottom of the dresses and putting pins everywhere, you know, starting the alteration process. We were under the impression that the dresses would be pretty true to size, considering the girls were measured but the correct sizes were not ordered. After all the girls finished, we were brought back upstairs and asked how they wanted to pay. When we asked what we were paying for, the owner said "alterations aren't included, check the back of your receipt." (THE BACK OF THE RECEIPT ONLY SAYS ALTERATION COST DUE AT TIME OF FITTING).
instead of DISCLOSING the cost ( a mere $60) at the time of measurement, or even BEFORE cutting the dresses, they assumed everyone was willing to pay them money. My friend's parents own an alteration shop, where they'd be more than happy to take care of that for free. When we said we'd take the dresses back, the owner Debbie said that they'd still have to pay at least $30 because the dresses were already cut. Money isn't an issue for us. Its the fact that the owner tried to hide this "fee" (and she insists she told us) and make pretend everything was okay. Even if I have to pay $100 for alterations for my girls, I would much rather give it to some one who cares about their clients.
And to add to it..

The owner Debbie is extremely unprofessional. She was on the phone with another bride (who apparently hated her dress) and when she hung up, all she was doing was complaining about the brides and how they act when they hate their dress. (I didn't buy my dress there, I went to Kleinfelds). Looks like people have to spend extra money to get good customer service. Such a shame, I had high hopes for this place.
