Yuki Yamamoto Review of Antioch Toyota

They are big disappointment to me. If you are planning to buy a car, Antioch Toyota is the worst place to do. I had a horrible experience there. Buying a car is not an onetime experience, but you have to go back to them afterwards for repair and whatever you need. In this point, they are no longer reliable. In fact, I am happy that I ended up not buying a car from them.
The salesman seemed nice at first and promised me to sell a brand new car at a really good price (because it was the last day of the month.) So I wrote a check and brought it to them. However, at the very last moment when I was going to put my signature on the document, they started telling me that they were not able to sell a car because I didn't have SSN. I'm an international student; therefore, I provided my passport as an identification instead of SSN. Yes, I made sure to other dealerships that I could purchase a $10,000+ car, as long as I showed my passport and visa.Yet they were reluctant to check this fact to other dealerships, despite our request. And yes, what they are mentioning was totally off the point. They even told me that my passport was not issued by the US government (of course not. But it's passport!! I can open my bank account, make a credit card, do everything with it), so they could not take it or something stupid (Visa is issued by the US gov, but you know they wouldn't listen)
To make matters worse, they suggested us to put my company's SSN (She is an American citizen)and to change the registration information later, which is basically money laundering. They asked us to do something illegal. I'm pretty sure that they know what they are doing. What happened was the manager did not want the car to be sold at that cheap price even though I've done everything that I needed to do. Or they truly did not know how to deal with this. But in anyway, their lack of experience and ridiculous attitudes might make you extremely regret and feel unpleasant. So you better watch out!
