Zero business ethics. Years back as an 18 year old i took my 86 Mazda B2000 truck to get the frame checked. They told me it was no charge for the estimate only to find out they told me its not worth fixing. It stayed over night because i was unable to pick it up until the following day. They charged me $75 storage fee which i had no idea about. Then they pointed to a sign akin to a championship banner in any major sports stadium it was so high up it was unnoticable. I pleaded with them that i have no money so they suggested i just sign the truck over to them as payment since its not worth anything. Feeling desperate i agreed. One week later its in front of their business for sale for $900, new inspection sticker and i saw it on the road several times. I admit now that i was an uninformed teenager and made some poor decisions, but i dont think it gave them the right to take advantage of the situation on top of being rude, intimidating and threatening with absolutely no care to try to help an obviously broke 18 year old
Kid trying to make it in the world. How are you still in business?
