Its no longer worth it going for the day if you're traveling far. The prices went up. Completely over priced, you have to pay for every single thing - entrance fee to Suncity resort as well as another fee for the Valley of the Waves, etc. You'll easily spend about R1000 Per person for the day just to see the Valley of the Waves, eat food and cover your transport costs from Johannesburg. They do have a lot of water rides, and great variety in restaurants and takeout places. Most takeout places are halaal certified too.
