Review of Lazydays

We ve had our camper for just over a month (Father s Day pick up!) so I think it s safe to write my review. As far as selection goes, Lazy Days was great. Our salesman was nice and prompt when we met him and stayed within our budget nicely. I don t remember our salesman s name (Nick...maybe?) but he was a tall, white guy that said he used to be a chiropractor and his girlfriend/wife was pregnant.

We had some trouble in finance- they got us to put down a $1,000 deposit to hold our camper and get a check from our bank. We were told we would get the $1,000 back but the way the buyers order was written up, our bank issued us a check $1,000 short so... there went the $1,000 we thought we were getting back.

I would also like to say that if you want the best experience definitely go Mon-Fri. Because our pick up day was Sunday and it was very, very close to being a disaster. Once we had said yes to our camper our salesman all but evaporated. Sundays they don t have walk through technicians working (apparently) so our salesman walked me through the camper as my husband hooked it up to our truck. This walk through consisted of the salesman basically handing me a bunch of manuals and said, I ll be right back. And he did come back... once every forty five minutes for the next three hours it took us to get everything situated.

The salesman, as it turns out, didn t know nearly as much as he thought he did- up to and including I asked him 3x if we had a sewer hose included and he insisted we DIDN'T NEED ONE. You can imagine how disgusting it would have been our first camping trip if I hadn t already known that of course you need a sewer hose.

We were also told that the two propane tanks that were mounted in a case on the tongue of the trailer had both been filled. I accept that it s my mistake for not double checking behind him, but when we got home BOTH tanks were EMPTY. Again, imagine how much fun that would ve been if we d needed them and not had them. I also feel like we should ve gotten some more things included (hoses? Adaptors? Something?) for spending $$$ but maybe that s asking too much.

So, wonderful first impression and selection. I wish we would ve had a more experienced salesman. Will still go back again.
