As a national monument, it is a must stop. I do want to warn anyone who has claustrophobia, that it is a terrifying ride to the top. I'm not afraid of heights, but I hate small spaces. You get crammed into a little pod with strangers in order to ride to the top. Then once you get to the top, it is cramped and hot. The windows are very small for viewing and you have to wait turns to look out of them. I'm glad I did this as the view was remarkable, but wow was it ever a claustrophobic nightmare.
